GREEN YOUR HALLOWEEN! The Sustain Libertyville Commission is excited to announce the return of its annual pumpkin composting event with SWALCO (Solid Waste Agency of Lake County, IL) on Saturday, November 6^th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in the Adler Park Pool parking lot. This is an annual effort by communities to divert pumpkins from landfills.

Pumpkins and corn stalks are both acceptable for composting. Please remove all candles, stickers, and other decorations from pumpkins prior to smashing (acrylic paint is okay!).
