Please be advised: as of 8:00 am on Wednesday April 13th, the Village’s drinking water supplier, Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency (CLCJAWA), will temporarily disrupt their service to the Village due to a repair on one of the blow-off hydrants on their raw water transmission main. The Village will be supplementing the water supply for Zones 1 and 4 (“pink” areas on the Exhibit here) with well water. Customers in these Zones may notice a slight taste and odor difference. The well water meets all IEPA standards for drinking water. We expect this service disruption from CLCJAWA to last for approximately 18 to 24 hours and will post a follow-up notice when service has been restored.
