Electronics Recycling

Beginning on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 8 a.m. to Noon electronics recycling drop-off for residents only will be held at the Libertyville Public Works facility, 600 North Avenue. This will be held each Saturday through September 30, 2017, (closed on May 27th, June 17th and September 2nd due to holidays and Libertyville Days).
If you are unable to make the Saturday drop-off, the closest Lake County drop off site is located at the Grayslake Recycling center at 585 Berry Avenue. Hours of operation and alternate locations can be found on the SWALCO website.  Accepted items are also listed on the SWALCO website.

Electrical Aggregation Program Continues

At the April 25, 2017 Village Board Meeting, the Board approve a bid from Dynegy Energy to provide electrical supply through the municipal aggregation program at a rate of 6.658 cents/kWh.  Residents in the current aggregation program will receive a letter to opt out of the program, stay in the program, or take advantage of the "green" supplier rate (6.847 cents/kWh).  This rate begins on July 1, 2017 and will remain for 12 months and ComEd will continue to provide the billing. Memorial Day Ceremony

The Village's Memorial Day ceremony will be held on Monday, May 29th.  Participants will gather at the Metra Train Station at 9 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. parade to Cook Park.  The program will continue at Cook Park and will include music from the High School band, presentations by Mayor Weppler, and representatives of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars,
