Memorial Day Activities

Please join us for Libertyville's Memorial Day Ceremony which will take place on Monday, May 27th. Participants will gather at the Metra Train Station at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:30 a.m. parade to Cook Park. The program will continue at Cook Park with music from the Libertyville High School Band, presentations by Mayor Weppler, representatives of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and high school essay contest winners. 

Non-emergency Village offices and Village Hall will be closed on Memorial Day.

Adler Swimming Pool Opens May 25

This Saturday, May 25 is the start of “Opening Weekend” for Adler Swimming Pool and the 2019 swimming season.  Adler Pool will open at 12:00 p.m. (11:30 a.m. for Season Pass Holders) and will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Memorial Day.  Adler Pool will be open on a daily basis starting Saturday, June 1 through Sunday, August 11, then weekends only through Labor Day Monday.  Riverside Pool will be open daily starting Saturday, June 9 through Sunday, August 11.  Purchase your Individual and Family Season Passes at the Adler Pool Office or click here.  For pool birthday parties, group rates or after-hours private rentals call the Adler Pool Office at (847) 816-7946.

A variety of swimming lesson classes for children are also available at Adler Pool starting Monday, June 3.  Four (4) two-week sessions will be offered for children ages 6 months-3 years, 3-5 years and ages 6+. To register click here or call (847)918-7275.

Farmers Market

Farmer's Market Kickoff May 30

Every Thursday beginning May 30th  through October 17th (NO MARKET ON JUNE 6th) from 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Cook Park in downtown Libertyville will be filled with new and returning favorite vendors bringing you the freshest bounty of the season.  Enjoy a selection of farm fresh produce, artisan foodstuffs, fresh flowers and even pet treats.  Take time to savor a freshly brewed cup of coffee or have breakfast in scenic Cook Park.   The annual watermelon cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m. will officially “kick off the Market” for the season.

Libertyville Days - Moon Mission

Save the Date! Libertyville Days- Moon Mission is just around the corner, June 13-16, 2019. The festivities include Lake County’s largest and most spectacular parade, featuring marching bands, horses and helium balloons on Saturday, June 15. The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. from the Metra Train Station and travels south on Milwaukee Avenue to Rockland Road. For more details click here
