Stormwater Utility Town Hall Meeting Postponed

You recently received communication from the Village of Libertyville regarding a Stormwater Utility Town Hall meeting that was scheduled for November 14. The meeting has been temporarily postponed to allow additional review of the structure and analysis of the proposed fee in order to best explain the implementation. The Village remains committed to developing the concept of how a stormwater utility fee would work in the Village in order to establish a self-supporting utility fund for the operations, maintenance and capital improvements of the Village’s stormwater management and drainage system. Details regarding a new date and time for the town hall meeting will be communicated once it has been rescheduled. Holiday Tree Lighting

The annual Village of Libertyville “Holiday Tree Lighting” event will take place on Friday November 29 starting at 6:30pm in downtown Cook Park.  One of Libertyville’s wonderful traditions, this event gathers families, neighbors and friends to the center of town to start the Holiday season. Festivities and entertainment begin at 6:30pm and Santa Claus is scheduled to arrive at 7:00pm to lead the countdown for the lighting of the Village Holiday Tree.  Santa will be available for photos, so bring your camera!
