Green Government Initiatives

The Village of Libertyville Green Government Initiative highlights Village efforts and accomplishments toward environmental issues, and provides a comprehensive strategy to maintain and enhance our high quality of life well into the future. “...thus in all these ways we will transmit this city, not only not less, but greater and more beautiful
than it was transmitted to us” (the Athenian oath).
Green Government Guide
In 2008 the Village Board of Trustees approved the adoption of a green government guide.  The guide allows for many current and future initiatives to promote "green" initiatives in Libertyville.
