COVID-19 Information

Village Hall and non-essential buildings are open to the public. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The community is encouraged to use contactless methods of conducting Village business such as online payments and the Village Hall dropbox. Non-cash payments are preferred for any business transactions at this time.

CDC COVID-19 Community Level
To view the COVID-19 community level for Lake County click here. When the COVID-19 community level is high the CDC recommends that individuals wear masks indoors in public, regardless of vaccination status. As of May 26, 2022 Lake County is designated as a high COVID-19 community level.

FREE COVID-19 At-Home Tests
The Federal Government is purchasing one billion at-home, rapid COVID-19 tests for distribution to the general population. A half-billion tests are available now and will be mailed directly to households upon completion of an online order form with the United States Postal Service. To access the order form, click here

How to Protect Yourself 
To protect yourself and others from getting and spreading respiratory illnesses, prevention is critical. Do your part to slow the spread of illnesses by taking the following steps:

• Stay home when sick
• Cover coughs and sneezes
• Wash hands often with soap and water
• Routinely clean frequently touched surfaces
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick and practice social distancing
• Follow travel restrictions and guidelines put in place by the CDC
