Non-Home Rule Sales Tax Town Hall Meetings

On the March 17, 2020 Presidential Primary Ballot, the residents of the Village of Libertyville will have the opportunity to answer a question regarding  imposing a non-home rule local sales tax of 1%. The tax is equivalent to a penny per dollar on general merchandise. The local sales tax would NOT apply to medicines, titled goods, such as cars and trailers, and most groceries. If approved by voters, the additional sales tax is projected to generate approximately $2,000,000 in new revenue annually after the repeal of the Places for Eating tax. On Thursday, January 30^th and Wednesday, March 4^th Town Hall meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Libertyville Civic Center to learn more about the Referendum.  For further information click here.

The Village has a new tool to provide easy access to search for information related to your address. Visit the community portal to view voting information, garbage services, zoning information, street sweeping zones, property tax break down and much more. Click here to use the tool.

Libertyville Sports Complex Open Gym, January 20th

The Sports Complex will feature “Open Gym” on the Martin Luther King, Jr. school holiday on Monday January 20.  Basketball courts for shooting-around and pickup games, as well as indoor turf fields for soccer fun.  Enjoy our Climbing Mountain, too.  Call (847) 367-1502 for hours and more information. 

Join Our Libertyville Sports Complex Fitness Center

It is time to start your 2020 resolutions and join the Fitness Center at the Libertyville Sports Complex.  Annual individual memberships are only $365.  Full-year memberships include free exercise classes as well as free pickleball play.   Special Family and Senior (60+) rates are available too. Daddy Daughter Dance

Daddy and Daughters will enjoy a wonderful evening of dancing and fun on February 7^th. Memories of this evening will last for years to come.
