Phase 3 Updates

The Village of Libertyville is excited to announce our plans to reopen some programs, services and amenities under Phase 3 of the Restore Illinois Plan! We appreciate your support and patience as we work to implement modifications and requirements needed within Phase 3 and follow guidelines provided by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Recreation Program Updates

All classes and programs held at the Libertyville Sports Complex are canceled until further notice
Adler and Riverside Pools are closed for the 2020 season
Virtual dance classes begin June 22^nd
Preschool registration available now here
Adler Day Camp and Teen Travelers are canceled (click here to read the press release)
Sunshine Kidz (ages 3-4), Camp Adventure (ages 5-6) and Libertyville Safety Town (K-3) will still be offered (click here to register)
The Vernon Hills Park District will be extending resident camp rates to Libertyville residents for the 2020 season (registration begins June 8^th)
Additional summer recreation programs will be offered by the Village of Libertyville, an UPDATED Recreation online guide will be posted on June 5th at www.libertyville.com/recreation

Summertime typically brings many events and programs to the Village. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic certain events/programs have been canceled or postponed. Please see the list below for further details. All dates are subject to change. For up to date information regarding these events visit the Village’s website at www.libertyville.com/calendar.

Restaurants and Businesses

Get Your Forks Out and Get Outside! During Phase 3 restaurants are now permitted to offer outdoor dining, though interior seating continues to be unavailable. The majority of Libertyville restaurants are offering outdoor options which are reflected on the Village’s dining website. Most restaurants continue to offer pickup, delivery and drive-thru services.

All retail, as well as certain personal service and fitness businesses, have also been permitted to reopen with occupancy limits and sanitation procedures in place. Our local businesses look forward to seeing you in person and appreciate your support in recent weeks. View the Business Directory.
