Trick or Treating 2021

The Village of Libertyville will participate in its annual Trick or Treat tradition on Sunday, October 31st from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Guidelines for participants are available here.

Trick or Treat on MainStreet

Join area businesses for trick or treating on Friday, October 29th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Participating stores will have a bright orange pumpkin sign on their window or door. Be sure to bring your camera! More information and a list of stores is listed here.

Movie in the Park - Trolls World Tour

Movie in the Park - Trolls World Tour

Come to Adler Park on October 16th at 7:00 p.m. to watch Trolls World Tour on the big screen! Admission is free but bring snacks and a blanket or chair. Please social distance while at the event. For any questions, call the Recreation Department at 847-918-7275.

Pink Patch

Police Department Pink Patch Project for Breast Cancer

During the month of October, Libertyville Police Officers will have the option to wear a pink uniform patch in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Residents will also receive a pink patch with a minimum $10 donation to benefit Advocate Condell's Cancer Care Services. Click here for more details about the initiative and how to donate.

High Five COVID-19 Relief Grant Extended

The Village has updated eligibility requirements for the High Five COVID-19 Relief Grant. To encourage further awards, the application deadline has also been extended to November 15th. Libertyville-based businesses. View updated details for eligibility and award prioritization here.

Yard Waste Pick Up

Fall Yard Waste

As leaves and other yard waste begin to accumulate with the changing seasons, residents must use bag tags or subscription services for yard waste pick-up. More information, including bag tag vendors and Groot subscription sign-up, is available here.

The weekly Farmers Market will close its 41st season on October 21st – be sure to stop by beforehand for fresh produce and flowers, local baked goods, hot foods, and health and wellness products! GLMV 2nd Annual Coats for Vets

With winter around the corner, it's time for the 2nd Annual GLMV Coats for Vets! The GLMV Chamber of Commerce invites all to join them in collecting old, slightly worn, or new winter coats and other seasonal outerwear for local veterans in need and their families. Donations can be dropped off through through November 16, 2021. Click here for drop-off locations.

Prescription Drug Drop Off Event

Join Representative Chris Bos and the Hawthorn Woods Police Department on Saturday, October 16th as they collect unwanted or expired prescription drugs to be safely disposed for free. This is an outdoor drive-up event. Click here for event details.
