Save the Date: Dog Days of SummerSAVE THE DATE! The 13th Annual Dog Days of Summer will take place July 8th-10th. Dock Dogs Canine Aquatic Competition will return for all dogs, amateur to pro! Local rescues will also be on-site with some of their furry residents looking for a new home.
This event is presented by the Village of Libertyville and the Knights of Columbus Council 3674 Libertyville. All proceeds go to local pet rescues and food pantries.

Business Spotlight: 847 Running CompanyAs Asian American and Pacific Islander Month has come to a close, the Village is proud to recognize several local businesses owned by Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
847 Running Company opened February 2020 in downtown Libertyville. They provide running/walking analysis, curated footwear to complement your body mechanics, and active lifestyle apparel and accessories. The husband-wife team, Kai (Japanese-White) and Nicole (Filipino-White) are proud to bring Asian/Pacific American diversity to the run specialty business. Join 847 Running Company for group runs at 6 pm every Tuesday, 847 Kids Running Camps, and 847 Porch Sessions in the summer. All bodies welcome! Senior Center Trip to Lake GenevaJoin the Libertyville Senior Center on Tuesday, August 16th for a special summer trip to Lake Geneva! Take a boat tour of the lake, enjoy lunch from the famous Popeye's on the Lake, and peruse Black Pointe Estate. Bus leaves from the Libertyville Civic Center, 135 W. Church St., at 9:15 am and returns around 4:15 pm. $75 covers transportation and activities.
