Let Freedom Ring with the Village of Libertyville

Celebrate Independence Day with the Village of Libertyville! Enjoy a special holiday concert by the Village Band at 7:30 pm at Butler Lake Park. The 2022 fireworks display will begin at approximately 9:30 pm, sponsored by the Libertyville Mile of Cars and the Village of Libertyville.

Libertyville Police Department Applications Close June 30th

The Libertyville Police Department is currently accepting applications for entry-level police officers. Applications must be submitted online by 4 pm on Thursday, June 30th. Faxed, emailed, mailed, or dropped off applications will not be accepted.

Salary range is $69,875 to $108,482 with a benefits package that includes paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave, health insurance, pension enrollment, and tuition reimbursement. For requirements and to apply, click here.

Kinder Korner Preschool Open for Fall Enrollment

Looking for a preschool program this fall? Kinder Korner Preschool is currently enrolling! Children ages 2 to 5 are invited to start their learning adventure for the 2022-2023 school year running September 6th, 2022 through May 26th, 2023. Feel free to ask about a visit, too!

Celebrate First Friday with MainStreet Libertyville on July 1st! Shop, dine, and play in downtown Libertyville and enjoy special refreshments and promotions at local shops and restaurants.

Town and Country Garden Club's Hidden Gems Garden Walk

Presented by the Town and Country Garden Club of Libertyville, the Hidden Gems Garden Walk gives an insider's look into the outdoor spaces of Libertyville just beyond the sidewalk. This year's walk is from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday, June 25th and includes five spectacular local gardens and a live band from one homeowner's elevated deck!

Support the Festival of the Arts as a Volunteer!

The Adler Arts Center and the GLMV Chamber of Commerce are looking for volunteers for the annual Festival of the Arts! Volunteers are needed for the following shifts:

  • Friday, August 5th: Setup
  • Saturday, August 6th - Beer garden and tickets/wristbands
  • Sunday, August 7th - Beer garden and tickets/wristbands
  • Monday, August 8th - Teardown

Senior Center Cubs vs. Brewers Baseball Trip

Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack! Join the Libertyville Senior Center on Wednesday, July 6th for a Chicago Cubs game. Tickets are $60 and include a tailgate party, game ticket, and transportation. Bus leaves at 9:30 am and will return after 5 pm.
