Village of Libertyville Trick or Treating

Get your candy ready! This year's trick or treating festivities will fall on Monday, October 31st from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Head out in costume and collect spooky treats from your neighbors!

Trunk or Treat with Libertyville Recreation

Trick or treat...with trunks! Stop at the Adler Lodge parking lot from 10 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, October 29th for Trunk or Treat! Collect candy from local businesses, marvel at Halloween-decorated trunks, and play carnival games!

This event is free to the public.

For its second year, the Libertyville Police Department is participating in the Pink Patch Project! Patrol Officers and Community Service Officers are invited to wear a commemorative pink patch during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Residents and supporters may also buy their own pink patch for a minimum $10 donation. For details, click here.

Trick or treat through the stores of downtown Libertyville! From 11 am to 2 pm on Friday, October 28th, participating stores on Milwaukee Ave., Cook Ave., Church St., and Lake St. will hand out candy to visitors - just look for the bright orange pumpkin sign!

Join Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club on October 29th for their Autumn Blast: Wine, Spirits, and Cigar Festival. With wine and spirits curated by MainStreet Social and select cigars by Neumann's Cigars & More, the net proceeds from the event and raffle ticket sales will support the Rotary Club Foundation.

Want to take advantage of the warm weekend weather while also giving back? Head to the Adler Arts Center, 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave., for a fall planting and clean up! The event begins at 1 pm on Sunday, October 23rd.

Learn about the uses of spicebush, pawpaw trees, and elderberry, the role of plant conservation, and cultural sustainability. Wear sturdy shoes and gloves for digging. No sign up required!

Lake County Rental Assistance Program Now Open

Lake County renters who faced financial hardship during COVID-19 may now apply for the Lake County Rental Assistance (LCRA) Program. Applications are open through November 15th.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Lake County

Do your part to reduce overdose and addiction by turning in unneeded medications on Take Back Day! From 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, October 29th, collection sites across the county will participate in medication drop-off.
