Celebrating 30 Years of Tree City USAThe Village is excited to announce that it has been named a Tree City USA community for its 30th consecutive year! Coordinated by the Arbor Day Foundation, the Tree City USA program celebrates municipalities with outstanding tree services. The Village also received the Tree City USA Growth Award for the 7th time, acknowledging Libertyville's higher level of tree care and community engagement. A huge thank you to our Village Arborist and Parks Supervisor, Dave Heurich, and the Parks maintenance staff for their dedication to preserving Libertyville's natural beauty!

Open House for Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction ProjectPhase 2 of the Highlands Subdivision Flood Reduction Project is slated to begin on or around April 3rd, 2023 and continue through November 2023. An open house outlining the project will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday, March 22 at the Village of Libertyville Village Hall, 118 W.
