Seeking Nominations for Business Excellence Recognitions

Has a Libertyville business left an impact on you, your organization, or the community? Have you seen an outstanding development or renovation project? Has a local business reinvented itself for success? The Libertyville Economic Development Commission is seeking nominations of businesses for their local contributions to the community and economy!

Make a Splash with Libertyville Pool Passes!

Adler Pool is now open! Riverside Pool opens June 10th, so book your pool passes in advance. Passes are available on an individual, family, or visit basis.

Village Debuts First-Ever Bike Plan

On May 9th, 2023, Mayor Donna Johnson signed a proclamation deeming May 2023 as National Bike Month in Libertyville! After collecting insight from the community, the Bicycle Advisory Commission collaborated with Civiltech to create the Village's first-ever Bike Plan. This plan evaluates current biking conditions and proposes design and development options for future repair stations and paths.

MainStreet Libertyville's First Friday

Support your local downtown and join MainStreet Libertyville for First Friday tonight, Friday, June 2nd! Enjoy refreshments, special discounts, and exclusive shopping features as shops stay open late. Close out the night with dinner at one of Libertyville's award-winning restaurants!

Senior Center Coffee with a Cop and Firefighter

Join the Libertyville Senior Center for coffee and conversation with the Libertyville Police and Fire Department at 1 pm on Tuesday, June 20th! Treats and beverages will be provided.

No registration is required and walk-ins are welcome. The event will be held at the Libertyville Senior and Civic Center, 135 W. Church St.

Celebrate Summer at Libertyville Days

Libertyville Days is back! From June 15th to 18th, celebrate the "MVPs of 23" with carnival rides, a beer garden, an arts and crafts fair, and a parade. Each day holds its own special activities and entertainment! Parade will take place at 10 am on Saturday, June 17th.

Hidden Gems Garden Walk Tickets Now on Sale

The Town and Country Garden Club of Libertyville invites you to its Hidden Gems Garden Walk on June 24th! From 10 am to 3 pm, explore five of Libertyville's most exceptional gardens. Artists will be onsite to with nature-themed pieces for sale and a special tasting table from Chrissoulas will supply samples of new Greek and Mediterranean dishes.

Update to Groot's Recycling Policies

The Village's waste hauling service, Groot, has announced that it now accepts paper cups for recycling! This includes disposable coffee cups. Simply place your empty, clean cup loose in the recycling bin! Please note that lids are not recyclable.

Consider Mentoring New Professionals with an Internship

Ready to shape future generations through hands-on work experience? Consider an intern! The College of Lake County Career and Job Placement Center partners students with employers for internship work. CLC encourages employers with a short and long-term hiring need and capacity for training and supervision to contact the center.
