Village Releases Second Annual Popular Annual Financial Report

The Village of Libertyville is pleased to present its second Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the fiscal year ended April 30th, 2023. This report provides a summary of the Village’s financial activities and position in a transparent and easily understood format. Information included is the PAFR is summarized from the Village’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.

Mayor Johnson Recognizes Hispanic Heritage Month

At the September 12th Village Board meeting, Mayor Johnson issued an official proclamation recognizing September 15th through October 15th, 2023 as Hispanic Heritage Month.

Businesses Wanted for Trunk or Treat Event

The Libertyville Recreation Department invites your business to participate in its Trunk or Treat event! From 10 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, October 28th, decorate your personal or business vehicle and wear your best costume to hand out candy to kids and adults!
 
Cost to participate is $50; registration ends Monday, October 23rd. For questions and to register, contact Julie Franklin at jfranklin@libertyville.com or 847-918-7275.

Libertyville Fire Department Open House

The Libertyville Fire Department Open House is back! From 1 pm to 4 pm on Saturday, October 14th, tour Fire Station 1, 1551 N. Milwaukee Ave., with your friendly Libertyville firefighters. Watch live demonstrations, slide down a fire pole, play giant Jenga, and visit the department's recruitment table!

 No RSVP required!

New Exhibition at Adler Arts Center

The Adler Arts Center invites you to a launch party for its newest exhibit, "Holding on to the Small Hands of Details" by Anne Bernard-Pattis. This collection of over 100 pieces of porcelain, prints on paper, textiles, and stories explores the companionship and beauty details offer us.

Opening reception will be held on Friday, October 6th from 7 pm to 9 pm. The exhibit runs through November 20th.

2023 Garden Learning Series - Landscaping for a Changing Climate

Join University of Illinois Extension, SWALCO, and Lake County Forest Preserves to explore the ways in which what we plan and how we plant it can make a difference. The workshop will examine nature-based solutions for the home gardener that lessen the impacts of our changing climate.

Get Spooky at the Senior Center's Jack O'Lantern Jubilee!

All treats and no tricks here! Join the Libertyville Senior Center, 135 W. Church St, for its Jack O'Lantern Jubilee on Tuesday, October 31st. From 1 pm to 3 pm, enjoy appetizers, desserts, beverages, music, a costume contest, and prizes!
