Water Service Material Survey

Federal and State legislation requires that the Village complete a material inventory of all the water services in the distribution system as part of the initiative to eliminate lead services starting in 2027. In an effort to complete this inventory the Public Works Department is sending letters to certain residential properties to request assistance with the Village’s efforts to establish a Village-wide inventory of water service materials. These letters are only being sent to areas where additional information is required to confirm materials.

If you receive a letter, please follow the instructions included to assist with the Village’s efforts.  Contact information is provided within each letter should you have any questions about the process.
