Adopt a Storm Drain Program

With the summer rains, please assist the Village with cleaning your storm drain to help minimize local flooding. The Village has launched an adopt a drain program.

Adopt a Drain is a volunteer program in which residents can “adopt” one of the 3,000 storm drains in the community. Adopters commit to cleaning the drain of debris to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Clogged storm drains are one of the major causes of roadway flooding in the Village. These drains are a critical part of the overall storm water management system, and keeping the drains clean assists in preventing roadway flooding. To learn more and to adopt a drain today click here.

Tasty Thursdays-August 22

The final Tasty Thursday of the season will take place on Thursday, August 22 at the Crawford Warming House in Butler Park from 4-7 p.m. Food Trucks include: Toasty Cheese, Smash'd Burgers and My Funnel Truck. Entertainment includes a LIVE Sloth presentation and music by John Lambert. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a nice evening by the lake!

MainStreet's Lunch in the Park

The last Lunch in the Park for the season will be held on August 16th. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to Cook Park. From 11 am – 2 pm food vendors will be offering crepes, chicken lollipop wings, Khati roll, salads, meatball and sausage & peppers sandwiches, pizza, BBQ, gelato and frozen yogurt.

Whether you are meeting friends or “grab and go” on your lunch hour, it is an ideal way to enjoy a summer afternoon. Relax and enjoy entertainment from many of your favorite local bands. Learn more here.
