Annual Santa Parade

The annual Santa Parade will travel through the Village on Saturday, December  7th and will begin at 2:00 p.m.  A Santa tracker map will be  available to see when he is nearby. Grab your blankets, holiday cookies, hot chocolate, and chairs to watch Santa. If your street is on Santa’s route, we ask that you avoid parking on the street and use driveways, when possible, to ensure that Santa’s sleigh can fit down the street. The Village’s parks also make a great place to walk or drive and park at to enjoy the Santa parade. The Santa map and route will be released closer to the date of the event.

buy a brick

Buy a Brick Program

In 1999 the Village undertook a major renovation to Cook Park, which included the installation of brick pavers along various sections of sidewalk within the park. At that time the Village offered a “Buy a Brick” program for residents and businesses to purchase a 4” x 8” brick and have it installed in the park. The Village is once again offering the program.

Residents and businesses can purchase one or more personally engraved 4” x 8” bricks, which can be used to celebrate someone or something important in your life, identify you or your family as a donor/supporter of the park, or memorialize a loved one.

Cost- $200/brick
Additional $75/brick keepsake

The cost of the brick includes the amount of the brick and installation with any remaining funds to support Village park improvements and is not tax deductible.

Orders must be received by December 31, 2024. Installation is anticipated in Spring of 2025. Bricks are guaranteed for 5 years.

PACE Seeks Community Input

To best serve the region’s changing travel habits in the post-pandemic era, Pace is undertaking a major project to reimagine its entire network of services with the goal of building upon Pace’s principles of accessibility, equity, and productivity.  Community input is the foundation of ReVision, and we want our riders’ voices to be at the center of this network restructuring initiative. We are hoping our communities and partners can help us raise awareness of the ReVision project, which will include upcoming opportunities for community and public input. Pace has released a Network Concepts Report, launched an online survey, and will hold a series of open houses to hear directly from the people who rely on these services every day.
