Annual Vehicle Stickers Due May 1st

2025-2026 vehicle stickers are available at the Village Hall located at 118 W. Cook Ave., and may also be purchased online. Applications for your annual sticker were sent via mail. If purchasing your sticker in person at Village Hall, please bring your application with you. All vehicles registered or housed in the Village are required to display a current year sticker on their windshields no later than May 1st, including those registered to area businesses. Stickers are $30 for vehicles (one senior discount (65+) per household of $15) and all revenue supports the repair of Village streets.

FREE Migratory Bird Nature Walk this Saturday 

Do you love birds? In honor of the Village's Bird City designation join us for a FREE guided bird watch and walk around Butler Lake in search of spring migratory birds TOMORROW April 26th from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather and bring suitable footwear and a pair of binoculars. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles through the beauty of Butler Lake. To register click here.

Arbor Day

In honor of Arbor Day the Village's Parks Division staff planted a Tulip Tree (Liriodendron tulipifera) at Fire Station 2 this afternoon. Tulip trees are native to North America, they grow well over 40 feet tall and they flower in late spring. Happy Arbor Day!

Recycle Coach 

For residents looking to reduce their household waste and become better recyclers, Recycle Coach is now available for Libertyville residents! This web-based application makes understanding your waste and recycling services easier, helps you identify what goes where and provides free educational tools for children of all ages.

Recycle Coach is designed to help you reduce your curbside waste, ultimately diverting materials from landfills and disposing of items correctly! To check it out today, please click here.

GLMV 13th Annual Extreme Block Party

The GLMV 13th Annual Extreme Block Party Family Expo & Taste of the Towns is a free, family-friendly event open to everyone on Saturday, May 3rd from 10-3. Explore local vendors offering home improvement, health, wellness, financial, and educational services. Enjoy live performances by Improv Playhouse, the World of Reptiles, and School of Rock. Guests can sample delicious food and beverages from popular local restaurants and food trucks.
