ADA

ADA Transition Plan Public Input

The Village of Libertyville, in partnership with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (“CMAP”) is working to develop an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Public Right-of-Way (PROW) Transition Plan. A PROW ADA Transition Plan is a document that outlines a strategy to identify and address accessibility barriers within a community’s public spaces like sidewalks, crosswalks and curb cuts. As part of this evaluation, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. and QualityCounts will be conducting field evaluations of Village of Libertyville pedestrian facilities in the public rights-of-way. In addition,  click here to participate in a survey to provide general feedback on accessibility in the public right-of-way. You will also find an interactive map where you can place pins  to show where you’ve experienced or seen barriers to accessibility. Stay tuned for additional opportunities for public feedback during this process.
