Our goal is to education the public and/or schools through fire safety education and involvement with community groups.
Some of the activities include:
- Hosting our Annual Open House
- Hosting Station Tours
- Fire Safety Talks (Adults and Children)
- Child Safety Seat Inspections
- Blood Pressure Screenings
- Fire Extinguisher Training
- Home Safety Inspections
- Tornado Safety Instructions
- Smoke Detector Evaluations
- Fire Drills
- Block Parties
- Kindergarten Fire Truck Rides
We also host fire safety talks for seniors 65 and older at various senior centers. All of these activities and programs give the public a chance to get up close and personal with their local firefighters.
