Administrative Adjudication Hearings
The Village of Libertyville, by Ordinance, provides that any person who has been served a violation notice for a qualifying vehicle, ordinance, or building code violation may contest the alleged violation in an Administrative Adjudication Hearing. Hearings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every Month at the Village Hall Board Room, located at 118 W. Cook. Any Village Ordinance citations can be disputed during Administrative Adjudication Hearings in one of the two following ways:

IN WRITING: Also known as a non-appearance. You can complete and submit a Request for Hearing Non-Appearance form and you will be scheduled for the next available hearing date. The Hearing Officer will read your written statement and review any evidence you may have included, and then make a ruling. The results of the hearing will be mailed to you within 3 business days.
