July 21, 2026- Presentation of Banner to Libertyville Wildcats Baseball

Mayor Johnson visited Libertyville High School to present their baseball team with a banner recognizing their back to back State Championship wins. The banner was also displayed in Cook Park. Read More

July 14, 2026- PGA Veteran's Play Day

The Mayor provided welcome remarks and attended the Veteran's Play Day, which is a special one day event hosted by the PGA HOPE, Illinois PGA Foundation, and Pine Meadow Golf Club.

Mayor Johnson joined the construction crews that have been hard at work bringing the Police Station Project to life for our community!

July 10-12, 2026  Dog Days of Summer

Mayor Johnson attended and volunteered at the 17th annual Dog Days of Summer. A special shout out to the volunteers for their work on the beautiful rose garden in Cook Park ahead of the event. See you next year! Read More

June 23, 2026- Libertyville Baseball Team Recognition

At the June 23, 2026 Village Board meeting Mayor Johnson recognized the Libertyville Baseball Team for back-to-back State Titles. The Wildcats won seven playoff games in pursuit of their second straight Class 4A state title.

June 18-June 21, 2026- Libertyville Days

Mayor Johnson welcomed residents and tourists to Libertyville Days. The themed festival: Stars, Stripes & Libertyville Nights was a huge success.

June 10, 2026- NWMC Gala

Mayor Johnson hosted a gala at Independence Grove in her role as President of the Northwest Municipal Conference (NWMC). The gala also featured three Libertyville High School graduates who played during the reception.

May 15, 2026- Exploration Day at Copeland Middle School

Mayor Johnson joined students and teachers for Exploration Day at Copeland Middle School where  they learned about careers, sports and products from parents displaying their talents.
