Libertyville Recreation Receives Special Recognition Award from SRACLC
Libertyville Recreation is incredibly honored to receive the 2026 SRACLC Special Recognition Award. We are grateful to SRACLC for this recognition and, more importantly, for the strong partnership we have built together over the years.
Our relationship with SRACLC reflects what recreation is all about—creating opportunities, removing barriers, and making sure everyone has a place to participate, connect, and feel welcome in their community. We are proud to support SRACLC through our facilities, programs, resources, and staff, and we look forward to continuing to grow our partnership in the years ahead.

"Tonight’s awards presentation begins with a very special recognition for the Village of Libertyville’s Recreation Department, a long-standing member agency and valued partner of SRACLC.
As many of you know, SRACLC exists because of the collaboration and support of our member agencies. They provide many of the resources, facilities, and partnerships that allow us to create and deliver exciting programs and experiences for you.
Over the past year—and frankly, for many years—the Village of Libertyville’s Recreation Department has consistently gone above and beyond. They are always willing to lend a hand, troubleshoot solutions, and help us find the perfect space for a picnic, an activity, or whatever we may have up our sleeve.
More importantly, their staff genuinely care. They care about SRACLC as an organization, they care about you as our participants, and they care about our community as a whole.
Working with the Village of Libertyville and their outstanding staff is always a pleasure, and we are incredibly grateful for the partnership they provide.
