The Village of Libertyville is hosting a public open-house event regarding its efforts in promoting water quality through the storm sewer MS4 Program on Thursday, February 27 at 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, in the Village Hall board room, 118 W. Cook Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048. Engineering Division staff will be available to discuss the Village's efforts in the implementation of its Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program. The Village's MS4 Program is based on the requirements established by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and consists of a plan to control and reduce pollution from stormwater runoff discharged through the Village’s storm drains. This public meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more and provide feedback regarding the Village’s MS4 program, or learn more about ways they can do their part to reduce pollution to the stormwater system.
