Existing Conditions
The existing storm sewer system is not properly sized in accordance with current standards. The existing detention basin is also not large enough under today’s standards and the existing storage within basin cannot be effectively accessed. Therefore, some drainage flows currently bypass the detention pond. The existing outfall for the basin is also not functioning properly.
Proposed Improvements
Increase the size of the storm sewers that drain to the existing detention basin on Stonegate Road and reconstruct basin overflow and outlet control.
