Fireworks Show TONIGHT

The annual fireworks show sponsored by the Village of Libertyville and the Libertyville Mile of Cars will take place tonight, Friday, August 12th at Butler Lake at approximately 9:30 p.m.

We stand with Highland Park during this difficult time and keep them in our thoughts as they continue to heal.

Save the Date: Performance Art in the Park

The Libertyville Arts Commission is excited to announce a new event, "Performance Art in the Park." The event will take place from 3 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, September 10th in Cook Park and will feature multiple performances, family-friendly art activities, and interactive exhibits. More information to come!

Registration Open for Fall Recreation Programming

Registration for Recreation fall programming is now open to residents! Non-residents may enroll on August 17th. Book early to ensure your spot!

Sign Up for Canlan's Youth Basketball League

Dribble your way into fall with Canlan's Youth Baskeball League! The league is an instructional and recreation-based program for youth ages 5 to 14. Sportsmanship and instruction are the focus in a safe and encouraging environment.

MainStreet Libertyville's Annual Golf Outing

Tee off with MainStreet Libertyville at their 17th Annual Golf Outing on August 29th at White Deer Run Golf Club! Check-in begins at 9:30 am with shotgun starting at 10:30 am. Tickets include 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, and a cocktail reception with passed appetizers, dinner, and prizes.

Senior Center Wisconsin Tour Trip

Explore Wisconsin with the Libertyville Senior Center on September 29th! Venture through Ten Chimney's Estate, a world-class house museum and national resource for arts education. Enjoy lunch in a dining car from the East Troy Railroad Museum to Elegant Farmer, creators of the famous apple pies baked in a paper bag.

$100 includes lunch, transportation, and museum entrance. Bus will leave at 9:30 am and return around 5:30 pm. To register, contact Jennifer West at civiccenterlib@sbcglobal.net or 847-247-7659. Please note that payment must be made prior to registration confirmation.

Apply to Vote by Mail in November Election

The Lake County Clerk's Office recently announced that, as of August 10th, registered Lake County voters may officially apply to receive by mail their ballot for the November 8th General Election. Voting by mail allows you to cast your vote from home, track its delivery through BallotTrax, and avoid lines or inclement weather.

Businesses Wanted for 2nd Annual Hire Lake County Job Fair

The 2nd Annual Hire Lake County Job Fair is looking for local businesses to meet face-to-face with job seekers. The event will be held from 11 am to 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 27th at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort.

Registration is free and includes parking and a table with chairs. Register by September 12th here.
