Mayor's Recognition of National Native American Heritage MonthAt the October 25th Village Board meeting, Mayor Johnson signed a proclamation designating November 2022 as National Native American Heritage Month. This is part of a continuous effort to recognize heritage months in Libertyville

Fall Leaf Pick-Up ReminderLeaf pick-up is provided through the Village's garbage contractor, Groot. Options include subscription landscape waste collection or yard waste stickers for yard waste bags. For details, pricing, and locations, click here.
Residents and landscapers should avoid raking leaves into the street as these leaves clog storm drains and blow into other yards.

Sustain Libertyville's Pumpkin Composting EventThe Libertyville Sustain Commission invites you to its annual Pumpkin Smash composting event! From 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, November 12th, drop off your pumpkins and gourds in the Adler Pool parking lot for collection to be composted.
New this year, BYOB (Bring Your Own Bucket) for compost on site! Residents may collect up to 20 gallons of compost from SWALCO to take home. Shovels will be provided!

Crack Sealing Program BeginsAnnual crack sealing is scheduled for Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th. Sealing may continue into the following week depending on weather.
West Golf Road, American Way, Thornbury Lane, Blueberry Drive, Acorn Drive, Pond Ridge, Dymond Road, and Butterfield Lane are all slated for sealing. Residents should avoid parking on the street between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm the days of sealing. For more details, including a map of affected areas, click here.
