CLCJAWA Temporary Water Disruption

Beginning at 8:00 AM on Tuesday November 7th the Village’s Lake Michigan drinking water supplier, Central Lake County Joint Action Water Agency (CLCJAWA), will temporarily disrupt their service to the Village due to a scheduled electrical system repair at their water treatment plant.  During the planned service outage, the Village will utilize a combination of available excess storage and well water to maintain an adequate water supply for our customers.  A slight taste and odor difference may be noticed when the well water is blended with the Lake Michigan water.  The well water meets all IEPA standards for drinking water.  It is anticipated that the service disruption from CLCJAWA will last approximately 8 to 12-hours. A notice will be posted on the Village's website and social media when service is restored.
