Annual Budget
The annual budget is the key financial policy and planning document of the Village and outlines anticipated revenues and expenditures for the Village. The Village's fiscal year runs May 1-April 30. The budget identifies the Village's goals, accomplishments, long-term financial outlook and five-year capital plan. The budget is the foundation of the organization upon which everything is built in order to provide services to the Village of Libertyville community.

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report is the Village's annual audit. An independent auditor completes a review of the Village's financial statements and includes an official letter which summaries it's findings.

Fee Schedule
The Village reviews the fees charged for various services on an annual basis. The Village Board approves these changes in conjunction with the budget.

Non-Home Rule Sales Taxes
By voter referendum held in March 2020, the Village of Libertyville enacted a non-home rule sales tax of 1%, effective July, 1, 2020. Information from the Illinois Department of Revenue regarding the collection of the non-home rule sales tax is linked below.
